About Us

Thank you for visiting the The Learning Success Helpline web site.

We are a non-profit educational organization in Massachusetts dedicated to helping people of all ages understand their own learning styles and fully utilize this information to enrich their lives. We use a process called metacognition to help people expand their learning potential. All services are confidential.

Staff

Marguerite Wengler

Marguerite Wengler, M.A. Hofstra University; St. John's University; Assumption College; author, United States Delegate to the People's Republic of China; Director of the Learning Success Helpline since 1984; past certified educational therapist with the Learning Disabilities Network; selected for Who's Who in America since 2000, Who Who's in the World since 2001, Outstanding People of the 20th Century. Ms. Wengler is a Professional Development Provider for the state of Massachusetts, and is a past Directing Editor of Shared Visions of Teaching & Learning, an educational newsletter.

Dr. Allan Hunter

Allan Hunter D, Phil., Oxford University; author; past instructor at Oxford University and Fairleigh Dickenson University; English Professor at Curry College; counselor with extensive experience working with those who have learning differences, prisoners, autistic children, as well as honor students. Allan has written four books, covering a variety of subjects. Dr. Hunter was a permanent editor of Shared Visions of Teaching and Learning.

Dr. Ronald Warners

Ronald Warners, D. A. Ball State University; Director of the Honors Program at Curry College, Past Chairperson and Professor in the Fine and Applied Arts Department. Dr. Warner brings more than thirty years of experience as an educator and learning coach. He brings special expertise in learning styles and applications of psychological type, and is a certified interpreter of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Dr. Warners teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in psychological development and self awareness, and is Director of Honors Programs at Curry College. Dr. Warners was a contributing writer for Shared Visions of Teaching and Learning.

Whitney Newey

Whitney K. Newey, Ph.D., Economics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Numerous fellowships, grants, and publications in well-respected journals.
